Mobile game Destiny: Rising announced by NetEase and Bungie

Hamlet film made in GTA Online coming to US & UK cinemas and global streaming services

  • Courtesy of UK distributor Tull Stories, the film (Grand Theft Hamlet) will be in cinemas across the UK and Ireland from 6th December 2024.
  • That follows its UK premiere at the London Film Festival later this month, and other film festival appearances at Bath Film Festival (21st October), Cambridge Film Festival (24th & 25th October), and Leeds Film Festival (8th & 9th November).

Rare's Craig Duncan to become head of Xbox Game Studios as Alan Hartman retires

Bandai Namco is reportedly cutting workforce following cancellation of "several" titles

  • It's alleged 200 of its 1300 employees have been moved into these "expulsion rooms" – or "oidashi beya" – and almost half of these have since voluntarily resigned.
  • Bandai Namco has reportedly also cancelled several titles, including games featuring the One Piece and Naruto licenses, as well as a contract project with Nintendo
