UK counter-terrorism unit demands Steam withdraw controversial shooter from sale

  • Fursan al-Aqsa: The Knights of the Al-Aqsa Mosque describes itself as "address[ing] the Israel x Palestine conflict from a Palestinian perspective"
  • A counter-terrorism spokesperson said: "The CTIRU works closely with a range of technology, social media and online service providers, but we do not comment on specific content or any communication we may have with specific platforms or providers."

Fortnite Remix Finale event smashes 14m all-time concert record

  • 14.3 million people were in-game for Fortnite's Remix Finale event, according to the game's public player stats, while millions more were watching online via Twitch and YouTube.
  • The only other in-game event to ever get higher was the Marvel season finale featuring Galactus, again back during the lockdown era of 2020, when 15.3 million people were in-game.
